Who we are
When you buy from this website, your contract is with:

Email: hello@grandpahamish.co.uk
What you're buying
You are buying a digital PDF download for personal, non-commercial use. You may print copies for your own household. You may not share, upload, resell or give away the file.
Prices and VAT
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are shown before you pay. Not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged.
Payment and when the contract starts
Payment is taken securely by Stripe. The contract is formed when your payment is confirmed.
Delivery
You can download your workbook straight away from the thank-you page. We also email you a link. The link works for 30 days and up to 10 downloads. If it stops working, ask for a fresh one using the Lost your download? form or by emailing us.
Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you normally have 14 days to cancel. For digital content, you lose that right once the download starts, because you asked for immediate access and acknowledged this at checkout.
Your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't (for example, a corrupt or incomplete file), we will replace it. If we can't, we will refund you. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Information only
The workbooks are general household preparedness guidance. They are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Always follow manufacturers' instructions and official guidance. For example, never run a generator or fuel-burning heater indoors, and fit a carbon monoxide alarm.
About Hamish
Hamish is an AI character. His stories are fiction. The advice is checked for accuracy.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
